Paulus Kuster (ca. 1643-1707/8) was born in Rhineland, Germany, possibly at Kaldenkirchen, probably the son of Arets Kuster. He and his wife, Gertrude, were married in 1668 at Kaldenkirchen. Henry de Jeanne/Jayne/Jaynes/Janes lived in Bristol, England. His son, William deJeanne (1618- ) fled England and immigrated to New Haven, Connecticut in 1670, and later settled in Setauket Bay, L. I. His son, William Jayne (1678-1742) married Elizabeth Woodhull (1688- 1742). The Peek family lived in Prince Edward Co., Virginia in the 1750's. Descendants eventually scattered throughout the country.

John Evered Ball was born 26 August 1892 in Montgomery City, Missouri. His parents were Claude Russell Ball and Mary D. Pickens. He married Vernetta Ann Porter, daughter of John Porter and Julia Ann Peak, in 1921. They had three children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Virginia and Missouri.

John Ball was probably the son of Richard Ball. He had at least two brothers, Isaac and Ambrose. They all served in the American Revolution. John's service records state he was from Camden, South Carolina District and that he served in the Georgia Regiment. He married the daughter of Robert Bradford in about 1780. They had seven children. John died in 1815 and was buried in Warrenton, Georgia. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Georgia....

Edward Porteus Ball (1774-1840), son of Thomas Ball of Amelia, Spotsylvania, and Northumberland Counties, Virginia, married Janetter Davis (1794-1854) in 1809 in Northumberland County, Virginia. They migrated from Virginia to Campbell County, Kentucky, before 1820. Descendants lived in Kentucky and elsewhere.

John Ball, a Quaker, was born in England and settled at Darby, Pennsylvania, in 1689. His son, Roger Ball (ca. 1672-1736) was born in Derbyshire, England, possibly at Darley. He married Mary Scothorne, in 1709 in Chester County, Pennsylvania. They had at least a son and three daughters, 1710-1715. There were several Ball families that settled in New York. One of the families was that of John Peter Ball (1699-1753) who was born in Germany and immigrated to America in 1709. He settled in Schoharie County and married Anna Margaretha Ballin. They became the parents of thirteen children.
