He married Jane Rosser, daughter of James Rosser, about 1676 in Virginia. She was born about 1656 in Essex County, Virginia. They had 6 children. Johann Engell Bacher was born in 1706 in Germany. He married Armah (1720-1786). They had nine children. He died in 1774 in Upper Hanover, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin, Missouri and California.
