Joris Dircksen Brinckerhoff (ca.1604-1661) married Susanna Dubbels in 1628, and emigrated from Holland to Brooklyn, New York in 1640. Descendants (spelling the surname Brinkerhoff or Brinckerhoff) and relatives lived in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Nebraska, Wisconsin and elsewhere.

Johann Georg List arrived in Philadelphia in 1754 with a group of emigrants from Germany and Switzerland. He died in Newberry Township, York County, Pennsylvania, in 1790. Descendants listed lived in Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Indiana, and elsewhere.

Epke Jacobse (son of Jacob) Banta was a farmer from Harlingen, Holland, called "the common ancestor of the prolific family of that name". Epke emigrated, with his wife and 5 children, on 13 February 1659. They settled at Flushing. Later they went to Bergen, near Hackensack New Jersey. Dirck Bensingh married Catalina Berck. They emigrated from Groningen, Sweden, via Amsterdam to New Amsterdam on 23 August 1649. He died in Albany on 12 February 1659....

William Pasley Rippy (1805-1896), a son of James Rippy and Sarah Dunn, was born in North Carolina. He married Mary Weatherly (1820-1886) in 1837. They lived in Missouri, then moved to Texas, and had nine children. Most descendants live in Texas.

David des Marest (1620-1697), a Huguenot, immigrated from France to The Netherlands, and married Marie Sohier in 1643. They immigrated to Staten Island, New York in 1663, and in 1667 moved to Hackensack, New Jersey. Descendants lived in New Jersey, New York, and elsewhere.

David Lehman Booher (1811-1887) was born in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Samuel Booher and Susan Lehman. In 1832 he married Elizabeth Nutts (1813-1886), the daughter of George Nutts and Mary (Polly) Baum. In 1842 they moved to Columbus, Georgia. Ancestors came from Germany in 1739 and settled in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Descendants and relatives lived in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, California, Kentucky, North Carolina, and elsewhere.

Jesse Beaty, son of William Beaty and Elizabeth Gilleland, was born November 17, 1848 in Henrysburg, Belmont County, Ohio. He was a Civil War veteran. He married Elizabeth Weeden June 23, 1867. They migrated to Wisconsin in 1868 and settled on a farm near Woodstock. They had eleven children. Jesse died March 15, 1931 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida and elsewhere.
