George Barbour (1615-1644) immigrated in 1635 from England to Boston, Massachusetts, and settled in Dedham, Massachusetts during or before 1640. Descendants used the surname of Barbour or Barber, and lived throughout the United States.

Thomas Barber (ca.1614-1662) immigrated in 1635 from England to Windsor, Connecticut. Descendants lived in New England, New York, Ohio and elsewhere. John Barber (ca.1714-1775/1777), direct descendant of George Barbour of Dedham and Medfield, married Lydia Stimpson and lived in Boston. Descendants lived in New England, New York, Virginia and elsewhere.

Thomas Crousen (ca. 1745-1808) and his wife, Sylvia, lived in Pitt County, North Carolina. He served in the Revolutionary War, and they had seven children. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Illinois, Minnesota, South Dakota and elsewhere.

Thomas Barber was born in about 1614 in Eaton Bray, Bedfordshire, England. He emigrated in 1634 and settled in Connecticut. He married Jane Coggins Bancroft, who had been married to John Bancroft, 7 October 1640. They had six children. He died 11 September 1662 in Windsor, Connecticut. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York.

Ancestors and descendants of Gilbert Forsyth, b. 1716 in Groton, Connecticut. He married Mary Bishop in 1741. They emigrated to Nova Scotia, Canada. Descendants have settled in Canada, the United States, and elsewhere.

John Throckmorton was born in 1633 in England, and immigrated to Virginia. He settled in Ware Co., and married Frances Mason. He died in 1675.
