Description
Philippe du Trieux was born in about 1588 in Robaix, France. He married Jacquemyne Noirett in 1615. They had four known children. He married Susanna du Chesne in 1621. They had eight known children. They emigrated in 1624 and settled in New Amsterdam. He died before 1653. Descendants and relatives lived mainy in the northeastern United States and Canada.

David Landis Sr. (1780-1870), his wife Nancy Ann/Annie Springer (1781- 1841), and their seven children lived in Lancaster Co., Penn. In 1837, they migrated to Montgomery Co., Ohio. " ... [B]oth are buried at the Happy Corners (Old Salem) Cemetery in Randolph Township, Montgomery Co., Ohio. Descendants remained chiefly in Ohio with some going to Illinois, Minnesota, Kentucky, Texas, North Dakota, Michigan, California, Nevada and elsewhere.

Jean Bertolet, son of Jean Bertolet, was born in the Chateau d' Oex in Switzerland, district of Bern. He later lived in Minfeld, Germany and was married to Susanna Harcourt. The family immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1726 where they settled in Oley, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Also includes family of Jean's brother, Peter, who immigrated to America prior to 1720. Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio and elsewhere.

Johan Georg Gannshorn/Goshorn (1725-1806) married Susanna Elisabetha Bückle. They immigrated from Palatinate/Würtenberg and arrived at Port of Philadelphia in 1750.
