Jacob Mueller emigrated from Germany to America in 1732, arriving at Philadelphia on the ship "Pink Johnson." His wife was Catherine Charlotta Mueller. They lived in Berks County, Pennsylvania, where Jacob built and operated a leather tannery. Descendants of Jacob (1697-1772) and Catherine (1699-1777) have lived in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and elsewhere. This history is largely a compilation of family group sheets.
