Robert Jordan was baptized 12 January 1611 in Worcester, England. His parents were Edward Jordan and Elizabeth Broughton. He married Sarah Winter, daughter of John Winter and Joane Boaden, in January 1643/44 on Richmond Island, Cumberland, Maine. They had six children. He died 28 July 1679 in New Castle, New Hampshire. He came to America about 1636 with his mother and sister, settling first in Watertown, Massachusetts, then in nearby Cambridge. John married Anna Sparhawk on a date not determined.
