Patrick Plunket was born in 1684 in Lowart, Donagh, County Monaghan, Ireland. He married Isobella Baxter in about 1704. They had six children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Ireland, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska and New South Wales.

William Towne, son of John Towne and Elizabeth Clarke, was baptized in 1598/99 in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, England. He married Joanne Blessing in 1620. They had eight children. They emigrated and settled in Salem, Massachusetts. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts and Maine.

James David Best was born 12 Jul 1833 in Kentucky. He migrated to California by wagon train in 1854. He married Sarah Elizabeth Reed 3 Mar 1859 in Sacramento, California.
