Ezekiel (1773-1848) and Julia Hills (1783-1853) Johnson were originally from Massachusetts. Julia and her seventeen children joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved to Utah. Ezekiel Johnson (ca. 1773-1848) was born in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He married Julia Hills in 1801 and they had sixteen children. Ezekiel died at Nauvoo, Illinois in 1848. The rest of the family joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and moved westward. Descendants remained chiefly in the Mountain West.
