Federick Floyd was born in about 1779 in North Carolina. He married Mourning Bass, daughter of John Bass and Charity, in about 1798. Federick died in 1825 in Georgia. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina and Georgia.

Reddick Bass (1755-1829) was born in North Carolina. He married Obedience Persons (1765-1855). Reddick was a descendant of Humphrey Basse, Sr. and Mary Buschier who lived in London in the late 1500s. Members of the Basse family immigrated to Virginia in the mid-1600s and from there to Georgia in the 1700s. Descendants live in Georgia.

Hunmphrey Basse, Sr. married Mary Buschier in London, England and they became the parents of fourteen children. One of their children was Nathaniel Basse (1589-1654) who married Mary Jordan and was the father of John Basse (1616-1699) who immigrated to Virginia and married Kesiah Elizabeth Tucker and was the father of eight children. His descendants eventually settled in Georgia and changed their surname to Bass.

Henry Watkins (b.ca.1638), a Quaker and possibly emigrated from England as an indentured servant, was in Henrico County, Virginia during or before 1664. By about 1675, Henry and his family owned a small farm in Henrico County, where he died after 1715. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Kentucky and elsewhere.

George Austin arrived in Charles Town, South Carolina before 1700. He was a captain in the British Royal Navy. When he retired he returned to Shropshire, England, but his wife Elizabeth and their eleven children remained in South Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in South Carolina, Texas, Florida and elsewhere. Includes records of family reunions held from 1923 to 1992.
