Robert Leuty was born ca. 1771 at Hook (Rock), Yorkshire, England. He married Sarah Mann (1779-1852) in 1801. They had eight children. Robert died in 1849 in Snaith, Yorkshire, England. Traces the descendants of their children who immigrated to the United States. Joseph and William immigrated ca. 1828 and eventually settled in Ohio. William later moved to Indiana. Hannah immigrated with her husband, John Neville, in 1834 and settled in Ohio....

Charles Adelbert Wilber (1867-1960) was born in New Haven, New York to Walter Tyler Wilber and Mary Arvilla Parkhurst. He married Adaline Battles (1866-1923) in 1900 in Oswego County, New York. They had four children. Charles and Adaline both died in Fulton, New York. Traces their ancestry. The Wilber line is traced back to Joseph Wilbore (1656-1729) of Rhode Island. The Battles line is traced back to Edward Battles (b. ca. 1683) of Massachusetts....

Mathew Battle (died 1668/69), a son of William Battel and Margaret Dukes, was born in England. He immigrated to Virginia in 1647, and married his wife, Anne (date unknown), apparently after his arrival in America. They had three known children.
