John Croft (1795- ) was born in Liverpool, England and married Elizabeth Goodier in 1826. They were the parents of eleven children including Elizabeth Croft (1830-1904) who married William Knowles. In 1837 some of the family were baptized into the L.D.S. Church. A number of the children eventually immigrated to America and settled in Utah. One of their descendants married into the Baugh family. Wilhelm Lehr (1831-before 1900), a Confederate soldier in the Civil War, married Anna Elisabeth Bernhausen (1831-1888) in 1855 in Austin County, Texas. They had eight children, 1856-1874, born in Fayette and Austin, Counties, Texas. He married 2) Caroline Kobra in 1889 in Washington County, Texas. Descendants listed, chiefly descendants of their son, William M. Lehr (1867-1929) lived in Texas and elsewhere.

The origin of the Virginia Flemings, and presumably those in Pennsylvania, is Scotland. The first Fleming to land in Virginia was William Fleming who arrived in Norfolk in August of 1755, although he may have arrived as early as 1751. David married Pency Louisa Collins, daughter of John Collins and Pency Dillon, on 11 July 1833 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. Pency was born 16 Dec 1816 in Georgia. Joseph Haycock (1832-1898) married Elizabeth Baugh (1835-1914) in 1854. They immigrated from England to Bradford County, Pennsylvania in 1866. In 1869, they went to Chicago, then on to Utah. George Smith, or Schmidt, was the only child of German parents who immigrated to Virginia in 1735. He married Rebecca Bowen ca. 1768 in Augusta, Botetoourt County, Virginia. The couple moved later to Tennessee and Kentucky, settling in the Cumberland Valley, where George died in 1804. Descendants of George and Rebecca have lived in Kentucky, Tennessee, Iowa, Missouri, and elsewhere.

Thomas Marion Hines was born in 1816 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. He married Polly Lay of North Carolina in 1833. They had twelve children. Five of their sons fought in the Civil War. Their son, Green Lee, was born in 1842. He married Sarah Elizabeth Covey. They had thirteen children. Green Lee died in 1916. Descendants and relatives lived in Kentucky, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.

Abner Woodall was born April 25, 1798 in Johnston County, North Carolina. Sarah "Sallie" Baugh was born in 1791 in Virginia. They were married February 20, 1819 in Putnam County, Georgia. They had six children. Abner died in 1833 and Sarah died in 1856. They were both buried in Talbot, Georgia. Descendants and relatives lived in Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and elsewhere.
