John S. Messenger married Ruth Rhodes, daughter of Hope Rhodes of Jamaica, Long Island, on 2 Jan., 1799. John died 8 April 1823. Ruth Rhodes Messenger was born in 1777 and died 17 June, 1838. Abraham H. Hendrickson was born ca. 20 May 1773 and died 18 Feb. 1841. He married Elizabeth Ludlam on 11 Jan. 1797. She was born 24 Sept. 1776 and died 25 Feb.1838.
