J. Christian Bohnenblust/Boneblust/Beanblossom arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1752. Christian and Catharina's son, Abraham, was born in 1765 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. By 1771, the family had moved to North Carolina. Christian died in 1790. Traces the descendants of Christian and Catharina's two sons, Jacob, born about 1763, and Abraham. Jacob migrated to Harrison County, Indiana and Abraham migrated to Darke County, Ohio.

Henry Faith (1773-1861), son of Thomas and Ruth Faith of Somerset County, Pennsylvania, married Elizabeth (Betsy) Pike in Nelson County, Kentucky, in 1798. They had seven children, 1799-1815, born in Kentucky and Indiana. He died in Harrison County, Indiana. Descendants listed lived in Indiana and elsewhere.
Includes the Beanblossom, Peterson, Frakes, Sonner, and other related families.

Description
J. Christian Bohnenblust came to Pennsylvania in 1752 and settled in Rowan County, North Carolina. He changed his name to "Christian Beanblossom". His son, Jacob, was born ca. 1763 and married Maria Margretha Bierly. The family settled in Indiana in 1811 after the death of Jacob. Descendants lived in Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Kentucky, Nebraska, Colorado, and elsewhere.

Hinrich Janssen Bolhken (1803-1884) was born in Langstrasse, Germany, son of Hinrich Cassens Bohlken and Gesche Maria Wilms. He married Taalke Maria Jacobs in 1825 and they immigrated to Illinois in 1863, later moving to Nebraska in 1869. Descendants lived in Nebraska, Kansas, and elsewhere.

Charles D. M. Washburn was born 12 August 1822 in Attica, New York. He married Mary Jane Martin, daughter of John L. Martin and Rebecca Caskey, 19 October 1865 in Omaha, Nebraska. They had three children and were divorced. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, New York, Nebraska, California, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Washington and elsewhere.

All the Eibs in this country are related. The different branches in this book go back to Wurttemberg Province, Germany in the early 1500s. The earliest known ancestor, Andreas I Eyb, was born 1536 in Waiblingen, and married Anna Volz in Calw ca. 1553. He was a town pastor in Schorndorf from 1574 to 1590. The Eib family members live in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Kansas, Virginia, Iowa, Tennessee and elsewhere.

Micajah Gwartney (ca. 1750-1818) moved from Virginia to Kentucky in the early 1800's, and eventually purchased land in Corydon, Indiana by early 1815.
