Thomas Christian Christensen was born in 1827 in Ugilt, Hjorring, Denmark. His parents were Christian Thomsen and Anne Marie Michelsen. He married Christine Christensdatter in 1849. They had six children. Thomas died in 1911 in Irene, Clay County, South Dakota. Descendants and relatives lived in South Dakota, Minnesota, Montana, Oregon, Washington and elsewhere.

Robert Beird (1783-1838) and his wife, Sarah Beird (b. 1783), had eight children, 1806-1834. Their son, Burrel Beird/Beard (1808- 1854), married Ellen Taber (1821-1900) in 1839. They had five children, 184_-1854. She married 2) Jacob Heston in 1858. He must have been a widower with three children, as three Heston children were born 1843-1849. John Beard (Baird), of Scottish lineage, married Rebecca Sterrett and the family immigrated in 1720 from Ireland to Delaware, and moved to Chester County, Pennsylvania about 1729. Descendants and relatives lived in Delaware, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and elsewhere.

Asa Dearborn (1771-1829) was born in Kensington, New Hampshire and married Ruhamah Choat, born in Salisbury, Massachusetts in 1773. Descendants lived in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, California, and elsewhere.

Emily Jane Angell (1844-1910), a daughter of Hiram Angell and Mary Jane Beard, was born in New Hampshire. She married Samuel Blanchard Ordway (1844-1916) in 1865. They had four children.
