Mary Holt (1829-1920) was born in Cradley, Herefordshire, England, daughter of Philip Holt and Sarah Gaison. She came to Utah in 1855 and later died in Springville, Utah. She married William Beard (1798-1862), Robert Hughes (1808-1863), William Finch (1819-1895), and Orin Hulet (1815-1898). Descendants lived in Montana, California, Oregon, Utah, Idaho, and elsewhere.

Description
Andrew McCornack (1778-1876) married Helen McGeough, and the family emigrated from Scotland to land near Elgin, Kane County, Illinois. Andrew Wellwood McCornack (1844-1919), a grandson, served in the Civil War and received a Congressional Medal of Honor. He married twice, and lived in Chicago, Illinois. Descendants and relatives lived in Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana and elsewhere. Some descendants immigrated to Alberta and elsewhere in Canada.
