Raymond Harold Fordham was born 16 April 1919 in Brookfield, Linn, Missouri. His parents were Byron Gordon Fordham (1877-1941) and Elsie Jane Lambert (1882-1975). He married Lillian Edith Hayward, daughter of Thomas Rucker Hayward (1893-1928) and Lura Edith Beckett (1895-1974), 29 August 1942 in Carrolton, Carroll, Missouri. Ancestors have resided mainly in Missouri, New York, Connecticut, Virginia, Massachusetts and England.

William Beckett was born on March 17, 1821. He was the first Beckett generation to be born in Hamilton, Ohio. He was an enterprising young attorney and family man. He married Martha Woods, daughter of John Woods. The Beckett paper mill prospered, began making other kinds of paper and helped the Great Miami valley to become “Paper Valley.” William died in 1896.

Nathaniel Morrison Sr. (ca. 1730-1806) immigrated from Scotland to Berkeley Co., Virginia (now West Virginia). He married Thankful (surname unknown) and they were the parents of ten children. Descendants lived primarily in West Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Missouri, California and elsewhere.
