John Farnham was born in Stepney, England. He married Elizabeth Holcrofte in 1624 in London. They immigrated to Massachusetts in about 1635 and settled first in Dorchester and later in Boston. They had five children. Elizabeth died in 1652. John married Susanna Arnold in 1654 and had six more children. John died in 1684 and Susanna died in 1717. Descendants and relatives lived in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and elsewhere....

Emily Jane Angell (1844-1910), a daughter of Hiram Angell and Mary Jane Beard, was born in New Hampshire. She married Samuel Blanchard Ordway (1844-1916) in 1865. They had four children.

"These eight families have intermarried so that all are related, many of them in two or three or more ways." t.p. Joseph Hunter and Mary Ann Holmes were married in Ireland. They came to American and settled in Carlisle, Pennsylvania ca. 1762. They were the parents of eight children, two of which were killed by Indians.

Hugh Calkins was born about 1600 in Waverton, Cheshire, Endand and died 1690 in Norwich, Connecticut. He married Ann Eaton (?) about 1623. She was born about 1605 in England and died about 1688 in Norwich, Connecticut. They had 6 children: Sarah, Mary, Rebecca, John, David, Deborah, Deborah.

Thomas Nash was born in England. He lived in Lincolnshire, England and immigrated to America in the year 1637 with his wife, Margery Baker, and five children. They settled in New Haven, Connecticut. Thomas died in the year 1657. Descendants lived in Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Missouri, Virginia, Michigan and elsewhere.
