John Beebe (1727-1786) was born at Colcester, Connecticut, the son of John and Ruth Pratt Beebe. He married Mary Hill (b. 1729), daughter of Solomon and Mary Adams Hill, in 1749 at Kent, Connecticut. They had twelve children, 1750-1777. The family was living at Oblong, New York, by 1760, and at New Concord, New York, by 1767. Biography of Emma Kathleene Major born 12 Mar 1922 in Mesa, Arizona, daughter of Heber Leroy Major and Rosezilla Cluff and an autobiography of Fred Garold Beebe born 12 Apr 1920 in Dayton, Ohio, a son of Edgar Albert Beebe and Eliza Rebecca Page. Kathleene and Fred were married 19 June 1942. She died 1 May 1986.
