Abraham Josselyn, son of Thomas Josselyn and Rebecca Jude, was born in about 1615 in England. He married Beatrice Hampson, daughter of Philip Hampson, in 1642. They had nine children. He died in 1670 at sea. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Maine, Vermont, Kentucky and Missouri.

They lived in South Dakota and were the parents of twelve known children. Henry died 31 October 1904 in St. Helens, Nebraska.
