Description
John William Benbow (1831-1890) was the son of William and Ann Bagley Benbow of Staffordshire, England. He immigrated to the United States in 1839 and settled in Racine County, Wisconsins. He married Sarah Maria Cole at Ramond, Yorkville Township, Racins County, in 1854. They moved to Lee County, Iowa, and raised a family of nine children. They died at Fort Madison, Iowa. James Madison Morrow was born in about 1812 in North Carolina. His parents may have been William Morrow and Rutha. He married Francis Hester 18 August 1833 in Macon County, North Carolina.
