Ida Hollmann, daughter of Dominick Hollmann, was born in 1922 in Rothammel, Russia. She married Rudolf Kasparowitsch Bender in 1947. They had five children. She immigrated to Germany in 1991.

Jacob Bender married Magdalena Brenneman. They had six children They emigrated from Hessen, Germany to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1831. In 1832 they immigrated to Wilmot, Waterloo, Ontario.

Jacob Bender (1740-1820) came to Pennsylvania in 1751 and settled in Northampton County. He married Elisabeth Catherine Schaefer (1744-1810). Descendants lived in Pennsylvania, Iowa, and elsewhere.

Life story of Herman J. Bender. Herman was born in 1901 in Heilbronn, Germany to Herman John Bender (1871-1929) and Ernestine Johanna Steigele (1880-1970). He immigrated in 1923 to Brooklyn, New York where he met and married Lina Maria Elizabeth Resch (1904-1993). In 1928 they moved to Salt Lake City, Utah where they raised their family. Herman died in 1980 in Salt Lake City.
