Robert Wilson Carr, son of Wiliam H. Carr and Rhoda Stull, was born in 1848 in Cook County, Illinois. He maried Drusilla Benn (1856-1930), daughter of William Benn and Sarah Waugh, in 1874 in Indiana. They had eight children. He died in 1902 in Indian Harbor, Indiana.
