Samuel Rossiter Betts was born in 1786 in Richmond, Massachusetts. His parents were Uriah Betts and Sally Rossiter. He married Caroline Abigail Dewey, daughter of Daniel Dewey, 4 November 1816. They had five children. He died in 1868.

Azor Betts was born in 1740 in Norwalk, Connecticut. He married Gloriana Purdy (1747-1815) in 1764 in White Plains, New York. He died in 1809 in Digby, Nova Scotia. Gloriana died in Saint John, New Brunswick. Contains their history and includes family group sheets and a descendancy chart. Descendants live in New Brunswick, Québec, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere in Canada and the United States.

Thomas Grace, Sr. (1740-1806) was born in Maryland. He moved in about 1790 to Georgia. He was the father of twelve children. One of his children was James Grace (1769-1859) who was born in Maryland and moved to Georgia with his wife Nancy Jane Betts (1775-1865). They were the parents of ten children. They eventually settled in Burnt Corn, Alabama. Descendants live in Alabama.
