Despite the title, this book considers only the possible ancestry of John Mobberley who came to Anne Arundel County, Maryland, in 1687. He brought his wife Elizabeth Woods and they had 5 sons and 1 daughter. William Mobberley also came to America in 1680 and may have been a brother to John. John is supposed to have descended from Radulfo de Modburlegh who lived in Cheshire, England in the 1100's. There were some connections with the Bigot line....
