Richard Thomas immigrated from Wales to Pennsylvania before 1683 with a ten-year old son. John Lilburn Thomas (1826-1905), direct descendant in the sixth generation, lived in Sweetwater, Tennessee and married Mary Ann Wattenbarger. Descendants of Richard lived in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Colorado and elsewhere.
