Thomas Blackstock was baptized on 26 February 1758 and died on 6 July 1848 in Argyll, Scotland. The record states that he was probably not born in Argyll. He was the son of James Blackstock and Elizabeth Tweedy. He married Henerita Ferguson, daughter of Duncan Ferguson and Mary Campbell, in 1782 in Argyll. They had twelve children. Descendants have resided primarily in Scotland, New Zealand, Australia and Canada.

Josiah Askew (1740-1818) married (2) Constance Mercer Barron, widow of Barnabas Barron in 1804. His first wife is unknown. Josiah and his first wife were the parents of seven children. He died in Edgecombe Co., NC. His first son, Uriah (1769-1806) was born in Pitt Co., NC. He married Saleta Jernigan and died in Hancock County, Georgia. Description
William Blackstock (died 1798), who was probably born in Ireland, first appears in tax records of Pennsylvania in 1751. He married (1) Mary Irwin, a daughter of William and Ellender Irwin. They are believed to have had six children. His second wife's name was Eupahmie; they had no children. The family lived in South Carolina, and many descendants are found in southern states and Texas.

Jacob Barrickman and John Barrickman, possibly brothers, lived in Jefferson County, Virginia before it became Jefferson County, Kentucky. Jacob (d.1782) died in Jefferson County before Kentucky became a state, and John moved to Morgantown, Virginia. Descendants of Jacob lived in Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Tennesse, Texas and elsewhere.

Alexander Meharry, III was born 5 August 1763 in Ballyjamesduff, Cavan, Ireland. He married Jane Gillespie and they had two children. He married Jane Francis (b. 1771), daughter of John Francis and Margaret Cranston, 7 May 1794. They emigrated in 1794 and lived in New York, Philadelphia, New London and Fayette, Pennsylvania and finally settled in and Adams County, Ohio.

John Blackstock (ca. 1710-ca. 1796) was born in Dumfrieshire, Scotland and later settled in Cavan County, Ireland. His son, John, had four sons, George (1770-1844), John (ca. 1776-1842), William (1787-ca. 1860), and Moses (1793-1873). They immigrated to Ontario, Canada between 1818 and 1831.
