Russell Blakeley (1815-1901) was born in North Adams, Massachusetts to Dennis Blakeley and Sarah Samson. In 1817 he moved with his family to Leroy, Genesee Co., New York, where he was educated and grew to manhood. In 1851 he married Ellen L. Sheldon (1831-1892), daughter of Major John Pitts Sheldon of Willow Springs, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, and died in Thomasville, Georgia. John Blackler or Blakeley (b.1758) was a British soldier under General Burgoyne during the Revolutionary War. He settled at Wisdom, Massachusetts and married Sarah Allen about 1777/1778. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, New York, Illinois and elsewhere.

"William Baird, who was John's son, was born at Christiana Hundred in 1724 and came to Franklin County, Pennysylvania [sic] about 1751 and died there in 1810." Some descendants changed the surname to Bard in the eleventh generation.

John Peter Hickman was born 4 May 1740 in Germany. He emigrated and settled in Virginia. He married Magdalene in about 1763. They had eight children. He married Anna in about 1787 and they had two children. He also married Susannah H. Book and Margaret Parity. He died in 1825. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, Missouri and Oklahoma.

Seth Snow was born 7 August 1725 In Bridgewater, Massachusetts. His parents were William Snow and Mary Washburn. He married Bettie Sprague in 1749. They had ten children. Seth died in 1812 in Oneida County, New York. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Wisconsin and California.

Samuel Elliott (1751-1831) emigrated from Ireland to Northampton County, Pennsylvania in 1771, moving after the Revolutionary War to Allegheny County, Maryland, and moving in 1800 to Licking County, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Indiana, Illinois and elsewhere.

Nicholas Lambright (Lambrecht) was born ca. 1741 in Flanders, Belgium. He immigrated to Caroline County, Virginia, and married Martha Coleman in 1762. Descendants lived in South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, Oklahoma, Maryland, Missouri, California and elsewhere.
