Gustaf Johnson (1864-1954) was born in Ale-Skovde, Alvsborg, Sweden, son of Johannes Svensson and Christina Persdotter. He married Anna Sofia Christenson (1864-1937), born in Harpling, Halland, Sweden, daughter of Niklas Christenson and Anna Elisabet Anderson. They were married in 1885 in Logan, Utah. Both died in Idaho Falls. Descendants lived in Utah, Idaho, California, Washington, Montana, and elsewhere.

William Blaylock (b. 1789) and John Blaylock (b. 1802) were born in Virginia. They both married in Butler Co., Ohio in the 1820's. Both moved to Indiana. Descendants spread throughout the midwest and into the northwest.

Enos Blaylock was born in Mississippi in 1881. His family were converts to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and eventually they moved west to Utah where in 1905 he married Zina Montgomery and they had five children. Enos Blaylock collection of materials found on his family lines is included in this multivolumed work on his Southern roots.
