Richard Blevins (1800-187-?) was born in Tennessee. He married Rhoda Scott and they later lived in Kentucky and Alabama, also. Their son, Jonathan, Blevins (1817-1911), was born in Kentucky and married Emily Maxwell (born 1820) in 1837. Both are buried in Grapevine, Texas. Joseph and Mary "Polly" Hurt from Henry County, Virginia lived in Spartenburg District, South Carolina from about 1790 to 1810 when they moved to Wayne County, Kentucky with five of their eight children. The children and their spouses are traced, as well as their descendants. Children lived in Kentucky, Tennessee and elsewhere.
Families include Bertram, Blevins, Burnett, Elam, Hurt, Thompson and Tuggle.

Jonathan Prather of Calvert County, Maryland, and his wife, Jane, had seven children, 1668-ca. 1680. He died in 1680. His son, Col. Thomas Prather (1673-1712) was born in Calvert County. He and his wife, Martha Sprigg, had six children, ca. 1693-ca. 1706. He died in Prince George County, Maryland. Newberry James was born ca. 1772 in North Carolina. He married Elizabeth Gilmore in 1802 in Grainger County, Tennessee. They had eleven children, 1802-1824.
