Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Blood families who came mainly from Ireland and England to Massachusetts in the 1600s. In the 1700s, some settled in New Hampshire, New York, and Vermont. During the 1800s, some moved to Colorado, Connecticut, Iowa, Indiana, Maine, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin. Later desdendants also lived in Kansas, Washington, and elsewhere.

James Blood, his wife Ellen, and four sons, emigrated from Cheshire, England, to America, in 1638, and settled at Concord, Massachusetts. A daughter was born at Concord. He died 17 Nov. 1683. Descendants listed lived in Massachusetts and elsewhere.

Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of Ebenezer Blood. He married Abigail Ambrose. She was born in Exeter, New Hampshire, to Jonathan Ambrose and Abigail Goodhue. They were the parents of at least three children. She died 7 Apr 1807 in Pepperell, Massachusetts. He died 17 Apr 1800 in Pepperell, Massachusetts.

Includes information on various Blood families. One family is that of Robert Blood (ca. 1626-1701). He married (1) Elizabeth Willard in 1653 and (2) Hannah Jenkins Balke Parker. He died in Concord. Descendants lived in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, and elsewhere. Also includes family of Richard Blood (ca. 1617-1683) who was in New England by 1642 and in Lynn, Massachusetts before 1648 and an original propietor of Groton, Massachusetts.

Journal cards written by Pearl Stewart Blood from 1959 to 1984. Includes both copies of the originals and transcriptions. Pearl was born 2 September 1906 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Her parents were Otto Ren Stewart and Millicent Tollestrup. She married George Thomas Blood 26 July 1929. They had four children. Pearl died 27 February 1984 in Stanton, California.

Mary Stretton, son of Thomas Stretton and Elizabeth Deakin, was born in 1811 in Yoxall, Staffordshire, England. She married William Blood (1809-1844) in 1836. They had five children. They emigrated in 1844. She married Henry Wooley (1821-1898) in 1845 in Nauvoo, Illinois. They had three children. They settled in Kaysville, Utah.
