Peter Blosser came from Switzerland to Pennsylvania in 1739, settling in York County. His son, Peter His son, Peter, was born in 1752 in Pennsylvania and came to Virginia ca. 1776. He was married to Magdaline Bear. Descendants lived in Ohio, Virginia, and elsewhere.

Nicholas Berry (b. 1707) settled first in Adams County, Pennsylvania. He had at least one son born in Pennsylvania. In later years, he migrated to Rockingham County, Virginia, and settled near his brother, Abraham Beery. The date of his death is unknown. His son, Nicholas Beery (1739-1811), married Elisabeth Keller. They had twelve children, 1765-1788. The family migrated to Rockingham County, Virginia, where he and his family lived for many years....

Jeremiah Stewart married Phoebe Cowell about 1800 in Greene Co., Pennsylvania and they were divorced in 1820. The children stayed with their father, and Phoebe re-married a Mr. Crumpston (possibly Henry Crumpston). Daniel Stewart was the son of Jeremiah and Phoebe.

Jacob, Isaac, George and Abraham Blosser (4 brothers) and their families left Pennsylvania in the very late 1700's and settled in Ohio about 1800. Material on some of the descendants of all four brothers, but mainly the family of Isaac and Elizabeth Kauffman Blosser is included in this volume. Descendants now live throughout the United States.
Includes Blosser, Hufford, Henry, Johnson, Scholl, and related families.
