Mary Bell Boggs was born in Kentucky in 1890. She married Beedy Patterson and they were the parents of eight children. Information and short biographical sketches of her ancestors and other prominent members of the Boggs family who originate in Scotland and Ireland before 1700 are included in this volume compiled by one of Mary's sons. Descendants live in Florida, Kentucky and elsewhere.

Paternal ancestral families and relatives of Rubie Ray Boggs. She was born in 1880 in at Germantown, Wayne County, Indiana, the daughter of James Elicum Boggs (1851-1918). She married James Ellsworth Ewers (b. 1865) in 1903 at Cambridge, Indiana. They had a son born in 1904 at Anderson, Indiana. Ancestors include: Thomas Boggs (b. 1762) of Virginia and Butler County, Ohio.

George Albert Hall was born 10 June 1870 in Hamblin, Washington, Utah. His parents were Newton Daniel Hall (1819-1889) and Sarah Ann Mather (1838-1875). He married Sarah Eveline Prince (1875-1960), daughter of George Prince (1854-1936) and Phebe Jane Boggs (1855-1945), in 1895 in St. George, Utah. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in England, New York and Utah.
