Alexander Booher, son of Peter Booher and Elizabeth, was born in 1798 in Virginia. He married and Rebecca Kinser (1802-1853), daughter of Adam Kinser and Sarah, in 1824. They had thirteen children. He married Susannah Bell in 1853. He died in 1871 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, and elsewhere.

Samuel Wood (b.1737), son of William Wood and Mary Coleman, immigrated in 1755 from England to Alexandria, Virginia, and served in the military forces of Col. George Washington in the French and Indian War. He returned to Virginia by 1763, lived in Fairfax and Loudon Counties, and married twice.
