Edward Beeson, a Quaker, and his wife, Rachel Pennington, emigrated from England in 1682 and settled in Pennsylvania. Record follows line of descent to John Henry Beeson (1842-1915). He was born in Montgomery County, Ohio, the son of Tristram and Hannah Beeson. He married Cordelia J. Brentlinger (1845-1922) in 1865. They had eight children, 1866-1885.
