Description
Edward Beeson, a Quaker, and his wife, Rachel Pennington, emigrated from England in 1682 and settled in Pennsylvania. Record follows line of descent to John Henry Beeson (1842-1915). He was born in Montgomery County, Ohio, the son of Tristram and Hannah Beeson. He married Cordelia J. Brentlinger (1845-1922) in 1865. They had eight children, 1866-1885. Descendants listed in Ohio and elsewhere.

James Tribbett (1788-1866) moved from Maryland to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, married Sarah Gibbons in 1816 in Woodstock, Virginia, moved to Preble County, Ohio, and then to Montgomery County, Indiana. Descendants lived in Virginia, Ohio, Indiana and elsewhere.

Isaac Booher Mumpower was born 13 September 1839 in Bristol, Washington, Virginia. He married Sarah Ann Sharrat (1840-1876) 2 August 1860 and they had eight children. He married Rachel Elizabeth Rutherford (1853-1940) 5 April 1877. They had eleven children. He died 5 April 1894 in High Point, Virginia. .

Elizabeth Parrigin (1797-1904) was the daughter of John Booher. The family moved from Sullivan County, Tennessee to Washington County, Virginia and then to Clinton County, Kentucky where she died at age 105. She married Henry Parrigin in 1821 and had seven children. Descendants and relatives lived also in Indiana and some moved west.

William Tryon (1729-1788), son of Charles Tryon and Mary Shirley, married Margaret Wake and immigrated (with two of his brothers) to North Carolina and then to New York (he served as Crown governor in both places). William then returned to England, but his two brothers remained. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, New York, New England, Ohio, Kansas and elsewhere.

Nichoulas Copple (Koppel) and his son, Daniel, both served with the Hessian contingent of the British forces during the American Revolutionary War. Nichoulas deserted in Maryland, re-enlisted to serve with the Revolutionary forces, lost an eye and was mustered out, and received a land grant in Rowan County, North Carolina. Descendants and relatives lived in Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Washington and elsewhere....

Conrad Bredlinger (b. ca. 17280, probably of German origin, and his family were living in Frederick County, Maryland, in 1776. He and his wife, Mary, had at least six children, 1758-1771. Their son, George Brentlinger (1765-ca. 1867), was born in Frederick County, Maryland.
