Jorgen Christiansen Smidt was born 28 May 1823 in Fæstad, Haderslev, Prussia. His parents were Christian Andreasen and Maren Jensdatter Svane. He married Christina Maria Birkedal at Rodding, Shleswig. They had ten children. The family emigrated in 1857 and settled in Richfield, Utah. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, Idaho, California and elsewhere.

Goldburn Lawrence Knudson (b.1903) was the son of Jathias Knudson and Julia Anna Angell of Spanish Fork, Utah. Goldburn was names after his paternal grandfather, Gulbrand Knudson and maternal grandfather, Lawrence Washington Angell. He was known as "Goldie" throughout his life. Daniel Boothe was born ca. 1719 in Virginia. He married Priscilla ca. 1746 and by the year 1762 they lived the state of North Carolina. In North Carolina he was issued two hundred and eighty acres of land in Orange County. Daniel served the United States during the American Revolution and died between March and November of 1801. He was the father of 15 known children. Descendants lived primarily in North Carolina, Texas and elsewhere.
