Description
Abraham Boswell was born 21 May 1823 in New York City. His parents were Abraham Shotwell Boswell and Sarah Crowell. He moved to Nauvoo, Illinois in about 1843 with the family of John Anthony Woolf. He migrated to Salt Lake City in 1847. He married Gerusha Hambleton 13 June 1853. They had nine children. He married Matilda Betts in 1865. They had seven children. He died 1 July 1901 in Nephi, Utah.

John Boswell was born in 1665 at Ware Neck, Virginia. He married Phebe Colgate Iverson in 1688/9 at Goucester, Virginia. They had five children, 1691/2-1703. His grandson, George Boswell (1736/7-1788), and his wife, Mildred, had six children, 1767-1785. Descendants of their three sons listed lived in Virginia, Ohio, Indiana and elsewhere. Record chiefly follows male lines only. A number of descendants spelled their surname Bozell.

Josias Lanham immigrated to America from England ca. 1668. He settled in Kent Co., Maryland and married Barbara Ringgold ca. 1680. She was the daughter of Major James Ringgold. Josias and Barbara were the parents of three known children. Descendants lived in Maryland, South Carolina and elsewhere.

John Ingersoll was born in England in 1615. He immigrated to America in 1629 with with his brother Richard and his family. They settled in Salem, Massachusetts. John married Dorothy Lord, daughter of Thomas Lord, in 1651 in Hartford, Connecticut. They had three children. Dorothy died in 1656. He married Abigail Bascom, daughter of Thomas Bascom, in 1657.
