Leslie Newman Poland (1891-1969), a son of James Hubert Poland and Charlotte Elizabeth Bradbury, was born in Minnesota. He married Elsie Gertrude Dumont (1894-1971), a daughter of Henry Dexter Dumont and Ida Florence Udora Hoery, in 1913. Both parents were a mixture of French and English ancestry, mostly French-Canadian.

Descendants of David Baldwin (b.1748) and his wife, Sarah (b.1851). David was probably born and married in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Virginia, where Sarah died sometime prior to 1802. He later moved on to Ohio where he remarried and likely spent the rest of his life. His descendants lived in Ohio, Virginia, and elsewhere.

Thomas Bradbury, son of Wymond Bradbury and Elizabeth Whitgift, was baptized at Wicken-Bonant, Essex County, England, in February 1610-11. He was liviing in Agamenticus (now York), Maine in 1634. He married Mary Perkins, daughter of John Perkins and Judith in 1636 in Salisbury, Massachusetts. They had eleven children. He died in 1695.
