Albert Bradt (ca. 1607-1686) was born or raised in Fredrikstad, Norway. He was living at Amsterdam, Netherlands, in 1632, when he married Annatie Baerents (Barents). They had at least eight children, 1633-164_. The family immigrated to America and settled a Rensselerswyck, New Netherslands, (later Albany, New York) in 1637. Children and grandchildren lived in New York.

Elizabeth Van Bradt was born 19 June 1926 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents were Harry Lawrence VanBradt (1879-1968) and Amy Fern Veerkamp (1887-1975). Elizabeth married Samuel Lee Meredith 31 May 1950 in Rogers, Benton, Arkansas. Ancestors lived mailnly in Ontario, Oklahoma, Missouri and New York.

Nicholas Jacobse Van Rotterdam (ca.1623-1712) married Elizabeth Stevens in 1648, and immigrated from The Netherlands to New York City during or before 1651, settling in Albany, New York, where the family adopted the surname of "Groesbeck."
