Andrew Zumwalt arrived in America in 1737, settling first in Pennsylvania then Frederick County, Virginia where he died in 1764. John Braley left Ireland about 1752, sailed to Philadelphia and settled in North Carolina where he died in 1798. Descendants of both families settled in Tennessee, Missouri, California, Texas, Virginia, Kentucky and elsewhere.

Johanes Kuster was born ca. 1760 in Pennsylvania. He married Catherine Gohn at York, Pennsylvania, in 1780. They had seven children, 1781- 1793, born in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Virginia. He died in 1837 in Botetourt County, Virginia. Descendants spelled their surname "Custer" and lived in Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, and elsewhere. John Brown was born 27 April 1797 in Knox County, Tennessee. He married Elizabeth Sample (1796-1886) in 1816. They had five children. John died in 1842 in Andrew County, Missouri. Descendants and relatives lived in Missouri, Tennessee, South Dakota, Kansas, North Carolina and elsewhere.

Stukely Westcott was born in about 1592 in England. He married Juliana Marchant, daughter of John Marchant, 5 October 1619 in Yeovil, Somerset, England. They had six children. They emigrated in 1635. Stukely died 12 January 1677 in Rhode Island. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, Ohio, Michigan and California.

Alexander Canedy was born in about 1650 in Scotland. He between 1714 - 1718 in Plympton, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts. He married Elizabeth Annable, daughter of John Annable and Anna Whipple. They had seven children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Massachusetts, Vermont, Pennsyvlania, New York, Illinois and Minnesota.
