Christopher Thomas (1609-1670) was born in Kent County, England, the son of Tristram Thomas. He immigrated to Virginia in 1635; stayed in Virginia, for a short time, and then settled in Talbot County, Maryland, where he died. His son, Tristram Thomas (1633-1686), married Anne Coursey.
