Description
Jonas Bronck was born about 1575 in Sweden and died there. His son Peter Jonasson Bronck was born about 1616 in Holland. He married Hilletje Tyssinck in Holland in 1645 and died in New York in 1669. Most of the family stayed in the Northeast.

Julius Theodore Engler (1844-1940) emigrated from Germany to New York in 1877, and settled in Winona County, Minnesota. He married Louisa Hilbe in 1880, and in 1921 moved to Sugar Loaf near Winona, Minnesota. Descendants and relatives lived in Minnesota and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in Germany and elsewhere.

Jacobus Wels was christened 15 October 1690 in Amsterdam, Holland. His parents were Hendrick Wels and Kattryna Weesmans. He emigrated and settled in New York. He married Elizabeth in about 1721. They had seven children. Ancestors, descendants and relatives lived mainly in Holland, New York, Massachusetts, Michigan and Mississippi.
