Joseph Huffman Higdon (1838-1909) was the son of Major William Huffman Higdon and his wife, Jane Buchanan. In 1865, when his father came home from the Civil War, Joseph and Margaret Matilda Berry (1847- 1941) were married. They had 10 children. Descendants lived chiefly in the South, but one family emigrated to Canada.

Daniel Reardon (b.ca.1825) emigrated from Ireland to New York, probably between 1850 and 1855. He married Ellen Magnus, also a native of Ireland, possibly in New York. Their first child, Dennis James Reardon (1855-1925), was born in New York City. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, California, Nevada and elsewhere. Some descendants became members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, living in California and elsewhere.

Samuel Bryson Cook (1899-1983) was born at Border, Idaho, the son of Joseph Wolcott Cook and Eliza Snow Bryson. His father was a posperous cattleman and lived on the Bear River at Pegram. He served a mission to Perth, Australia, 1919-1921. He married Marilla Crowther (1900-1984) in 1926 in Logan, Utah. He attended college at USAC in forestry and his first assignment was in the Paris District. The Cook's had 5 children. He died at Bountiful, Utah.

Samuel Mileham married Martha Gardner in 1724 in Christ Church Parish, Lancaster County, Virginia. John Milan (b.1725), probably their son, moved to Louisa County, Virginia, married Judith Bartlett Cole, and settled in Brunswick County, Virginia. He and three of his sons served in the Revolutionary War. Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Texas and elsewhere.
