Joshua Wilson and Benjamin Buckmaster immigrated about 1750/1755, with their father, from Scotland to America, and the father died en route. The two boys settled in Baltimore, Maryland. Descendants lived in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Arkansas, Washington and elsewhere.

Jacob Gier II (ca.1836-1909) married Celia Jane Goodner in 1856 and moved from Iowa to Antelope County, Nebraska. Jason Noadiah Holcomb (1819-1898) and his second wife, Betsy Ann Palmer, moved from Wisconsin to Antelope County, Nebraska. Descendants lived in Nebraska, Iowa, California, Washington and elsewhere. Ancestors lived in Iowa, Wisconsin, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, New England and elsewhere.

Samuel Hazen was born in 1777 in Litchfield County, Connecticut. His father was Samuel Hazen. He married Elizabeth DeWitt (1775-1850) 3 April 1802 in Sussex County, New Jersey. They had seven children. They moved to Knox County, Ohio in 1819 and to Morrow County in 1829. Samuel died in 1853 in Kosciusko County, Indiana. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Indiana, Kansas and Nebraska.
