John Ivory was born 25 July 1780 in Shirley, Massachusetts. He married Betsey Page, daughter of Jonas Page and Lucy Holden, in 1802. They had nine children. He died in 1859 in Smithville, New York. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York, Michigan, California and Washngton.

William Russell Miller was born in Scotland, the son of David Miller and Agnes Tennant Russell. He married Isabella Bullock, the daughter of William Bullock and Marion Wylie Clark. Bill had lived in New Mexico for a few years as a child, and the family returned to America in 1921. Their children included David, Agnes, Marion, Christina, Billy and Jessie. William Duke married Hannah Grendon prior to 1672 in Charles City County, Colony of Virginia. She was the widow of William Bird. Their descendant Fanny Duke, daughter of Burwell and Frances Duke, Sr., married Briggs Sims in Warren County, North Carolina in 1796. Another ot their daughters, Holly Duke, married Benjamin L. Reuben Cole (d.1815) immigrated from Ireland to New York with the British army during the Revolutionary War. He later deserted, and married a Dutch-Mohawk woman, Lydia Huyck. He also served with the Americans during the remaining years of the Revolution, lived in various places in New York, and then moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. Descendants and relatives lived in New York, Ohio, Michigan, Nebraska, Kansas, California and elsewhere.
