Alexander Hill (b.1779) was a son of Daniel and Mary Hill, born in Skipness, Argyllshire, Scotland. He was a sailor in his younger years, and married Elizabeth Currie in 1806. In 1821 they immigrated to Lanark Township, Bathurst District (probably in New Brunswick) and in 1833 moved to Tossoronto Township, Simcoe County, Ontario. Includes Boyer ancestry and presumably contains the ancestors, descendants and relatives of the author's Boyer family. Samuel Bayer, possibly the son of Johann Adam Beyer and Maria Elenora Fuhrs, lived in Flomersheim, Pfalz, Germany from 1700-1710 and in Eppstein, Pfalz from 1711-1732. His wife was Maria. They had eleven children.

Guillaume Chartier (1635-1707), son of Jacques Charitier and Marguerite Loisel, emigrated in 1653 from France to Montreal, Québec, and married Marie Faulcon in 1663. Other Chartier individuals also emigrated from France to Québec province. Descendants lived throughout Canada. Many descendants immigrated to various states in the United States.
