Description
Samuel and John Burgess were in Harwich as early as 1726. Samuel married Mary, the daughter of Ephraim Covel in 1730 or 1742. Thomas Burgess (b. ca. 1720) married Mary Covel in 1742. Jonathan (b. 1748) married Mahitible Chase. Nathaniel married Mercy Covel in 1716 and moved to Sandwich. Covel also went to Sandwich. He married a daughter of Jabez Crowell. Phillip had a large family and died in 1794. The relationships are not certain.

Milton Burgess, son of Abram William Burgess (1857-1936) and Sarah Jane Rogers (1863-1926), was born 25 February 1887 in Pine Valley, Utah, He married Clara Cannon in 1912 in St. George, Utah. They had five children. He died in 1951.
