Peter Burket (Burgart) was born in 1766 and lived in Namhime Township, York Co., Pennsylvania. He married Elizabeth Harnish and they moved to Sinking Valley in 1802. He died in 1823. His son, Peter Burket, married three times and died in 1867.

Jorg or Georg Burckhardt was born in Germany. He married Appolonia Meyer before 1649. They had one child of record. Their great-grandson, Johannes Burcket/Burckhardt (born 1708) and his wife, Katrina Herbert, immigrated to Pennsylvania in 1767, having been preceded in 1740 by their son, Johan Dedrick Burcket.
