James Brown married Remembrance Brooks in 1674 at Springfield, Massachusetts, and died before 1713. Silas Brown, Jr. (1762-1826), direct descendant in the fourth generation, married Jemima Clark in 1786 at Northampton, Massachusetts. Estienne Mounier, a Berkeley County, South Carolina, planter, and a merchant in Charleston, South Carolina, and his first wife Marie (1692-1740), had two sons and a daughter. He married 2) Elizabeth Mary Foisson Vanderhorst, a widow. He died in 1748. Descendants lived in South Carolina, Mississippi, and elsewhere. Descendants use the surname "Miller".
Includes the Brown, Burt, Cheatham, Fulton, McCollough, and other related families.

Moses Hanks (ca. 1747-1831), probably the son of Luke Hanks (d. ca. 1756), married Aggatha Doson, ca. 1768. They had twelve children, 1769-1793, all born in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The family migrated to Lincoln County, Kentucky, ca. 1798, and to Williamson County, Tennessee, in 1806. Descendants listed lived in Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and elsewhere.
